VIKING VIDEO is a Russian company that deals in direct distribution of feature films and cartoons on our home market. VIKING VIDEO was created in 1996, although our staff are no newcomers in the world of video and TV. We have succeeded in hiring young and energetic stuff who work tirelesly to achieve higher goals.

We regularly attend the biggest European and world markets, such as AFM, MIPCOM, MIFED and others. We have released on video such hits as SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and A BRONX TALE, among many others.

We are also building now a new duplication studio right next to our office. It is being built by a British engineering firm called MW Video Systems and is supposed to be the best in Moscow after its completion with 500 Sony VHS SVO-965 so far with future expansion. Therefore, being able to both sublicense and release video, we are especially feasible for the major companies who are interested in the Russian market.

We also would like to introduce to you VIKING FILM, a new VIKING VIDEO branch.

VIKING FILM is established by true professionals who for the last decade had been working as executives in the leading distribution companies in Russia, such as PREMIER FILM, CARMEN PREMIER, ARGUS, TRETYAKOVKA, MASTER. While working there, we have released theatrically many world-acclaimed blockbusters, such as THE ENGLISH PATIENT, TERMINATOR, THE MASK, BASIC INSTINCT, CLIFFHANGER, PRET-A-PORTER, EMMA, as well as Russian box office hits MOSCOW NIGHTS, AN AMERICAN DAUGHTER, MAKAROV and others.

All of our staff are highly experienced and competent. Our main goals are:

• acquiring theatrical rights for subsequent release in more than 350 cinema theatres in Russia and CIS. Now we have over 50 feature films in our collection.
• distributing Free TV and Pay TV rights for over 130 regional TV channels in Russia and CIS. Besides, we are currently working with 30 cable and 4 satellite TV channels.

Currently our portfolio includes over 300 hours of TV programs, both Russian and international.
